A guide to the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on the development of alternative fuels infrastructure (AFIR) approved by the EU Council, which has the potential to become a groundbreaking impulse for the expansion of charging infrastructure in the European Union. The study presents the most important AFIR assumptions from the perspective of drivers, operators and member states in an accessible, infographic form.
The construction industry is responsible for 23% of global pollutant emissions. Each year, machines powered by internal combustion engines generate 1.84 billion tons of CO2, i.e. 6% of global emissions, directly on construction sites. The report presents the needs, recommendations and recommendations for the industry and legislation in order to implement the necessary changes in the specialist machinery sector (NRMM – non-road mobile machinery) as quickly as possible and adapt them to the concept of zero-emission cities, and thus make a real contribution to improving the quality of air and life of its inhabitants.
The report addresses the challenges facing the battery sector in Poland, Slovakia, and the wider CEE region: the need to leverage their potential for production leadership and translate it into innovative and robust research and development capabilities. The drafting of the report was based on a series of workshops in Poland (organized among others as part of the PSPA Battery Committee) and in the CEE region, which was done with the existing partnerships of CEE GTI and SEVA, and support from market leaders and stakeholders in Poland and Slovakia.
The publication describes the Polish potential and plans for the development of e-mobility. Information on law, incentives and financial instruments supporting the development of e-mobility in Poland. It presents the production potential in the field of Polish specialization – electric buses and lithium-ion batteries.
Boston Consulting Group (BCG) report prepared in cooperation with Polish Alternative Fuels Association (PSPA). The study contains scenarios of the impact of the transport sector transformation on the labour market in Poland until 2030. The analysis covered a wide group of 26 industries grouped into 8 main clusters and 31 different job families aggregated into 5 job categories: engineering, procurement, production and service operations, sales and other functions. 806 different job positions were included in the study.
In 2021, there were almost 8,000 passenger car fires in Poland. None of these cases involved an electric vehicle. Despite this, the topic of the safety of zero-emission cars continues to return in public space, and many myths are growing around electromobility in the context of fires. The study initiates a substantive discussion on the fire safety of electric vehicles, stations and charging points, gathering reliable information on this subject in one place. The document is addressed to representatives of the automotive sector as well as public administration, relevant services and users of electric vehicles.
Step-by-step explanation of the procedure for acceptance of electric vehicle charging stations. The publication is addressed both to operators of generally accessible charging stations or entities operating stations other than public stations, as well as potential investors and entities building and maintaining charging points for buses. The aim of the compilation is to facilitate and accelerate the implementation of EV infrastructure in Poland.
Demand for battery electric cars (BEV) in Europe will increase to approx. 50% in 2030 and to approx. 70% in 2040, according to an analysis by Element Energy and the Polish Alternative Fuels Association (PSPA), which covers seven European markets. The authors of the report also indicate that the acceleration of the demand for zero-emission cars by approx. 30% may take place in the case of early popularization of dedicated BEV platforms or by 8% with intensified development of public charging infrastructure. However, the purchase price remains the key challenge for the e-mobility sector.
The largest research project for the commercial use of electric vehicles in Poland and the CEE region.
2022 is another record-breaking year in both Polish and European e-mobility sectors. The fleet of electric cars in Poland has increased more than threefold in just two years. Over 600 new charging stations were installed in Poland in 2022. This is a better result than in previous years, but still insufficient to meet the ambitious goals set by the EU AFIR regulation. What has happened in Polish and European law and what is the forecast for 2023? PSPA, the largest industry organization creating the sustainable mobility market in Poland and the CEE region, summarizes the year 2022.
Comparison of the total cost of ownership (TCO) of Volkswagen e-Crafter and its conventional counterpart. The study report shows how many years after the purchase it becomes profitable to operate an electric van.
The report collects knowledge about the assumptions of the Vehicle-to-Grid concept and confronts it with current solutions. It shows the benefits that the use of electric vehicles as distributed energy storage can bring
